Good tasting food, honestly they bring you plenty of food for such a low price, would recommend. Little slip ups here and there, however what restaurant doesn’t ?

I just had too deal with ordering wonton soup. You would think that would pretty easy too order without a problem, right?? Wrong.. I get home with a large of the soup. With barely any wontons inside. I call and get told too come back for a new order. (Never said anything about bringing back the old one). The owner yells at her young son on why didn’t you tell them too bring it back. Right In front of me, and probably other customers.. anyways,, then makes a scene about making another wonton soup. Like it costs a million dollars too make another one... this place straight went down the Hole ever since the original owners Left. VERY LAST TIME ILL BE BACK.

Hosed me on my white rice on take out order 3 times in a row. Check your orders people. Not the same place since new owners took over. Quality has suffered as well

Awful service. Christmas night and I ordered food for my family of 5. I was told that the wait would be up to one hour. I gave it 1 hour, drive to the restaurant and was told that my order would be another 30 minutes. When I raised my complaint, I was told by the up front employee that “she had a family at home too, and that I would have to wait.” Just terrible service. Hire people who know how to treat patrons when your restaurant makes mistakes, or get out of the business. Although my family and I have eaten here for a number of years, I will never return due to this young employees poor mannerisms, finger pointing, and complete ignorance.

10/26/19 update - Unfortunately the original owner sold the restaurant in June 2919 and the service and food quality has gone down hill. We used to come all the time probably won't be back. House Wonton soup is excellent.

The food was great and reasonably priced. The service was great, too, we dined in for my daughter's birthday.

Wanted to try somewhere new. It was a pleasant surprise! Service was quick and attentive, we were sat quickly and our food was quick and hot. The food was delicious! And great portions for the price :) when you come at night it looks kind of sketchy from the outside but let me tell you, well worth the walk inside :)

I 10/10 recommend eating here. Their food is amazing, and they have great service. I will definitely come back for more!

Man, this was some of the best hot and sour soup I've had. My Mongolian chicken was phenomenal and out service was great! (Definitely order the wontons). But there are definitely some menu items that need to be removed. My fiancee ordered the almond chicken and my God, this was the single most bland thing I've ever eaten. It's not that it tasted bad but it tasted like nothing! Super disappointed with that, but overall very tasty and highly recommend

Phones weren’t working so I went in to place an order. It was busy so I placed my order they said it would be about an hour so I ran to the store and came back about a half hour later my food was ready shortly after I got there but when I got home the kids meal was wrong I ordered a dinner special but only got chicken lo mein so I don’t know if she didn’t hear me say I wanted the dinner special or if they just got it wrong but I can’t call to get it fixed and don’t really want to drag my child back to the car just to go back and probably have to wait anything 40 minutes for the correct stuff. I under stand being busy and probably overwhelmed but always verifying orders should be a must just so that this doesn’t happen.

Ive come here a lot. It's been a while. The owner knows me. I didn't see her tonight. She's always there. I wonder if management changed. The food is just as good as ever. Different staff though. They still did well but it use to go much more smoothly.

The lady on the phone was really nice, on the other hand the food wasn’t as good as other Chinese places I’ve had. I ordered General Chicken and the chicken didn’t have any sauce at all, it was really dry and too much pepper. The cheese wontons are not creamy enough, I will not be going back unfortunately.

I hardly give out 5 stars but this place has great food quality with a great amount and a really great price. That being said I only come during lunch hours. Have been here several times and never have been disappointed.

I order Kung Pow Chicken and the top half of the box shows how much chicken they gave me. They refused a refund.

I'm disappointed. Quality has really gone down. My chicken curry was cold and tasted bland, my utensils were dirty. There was also a lipstick stain on my cup from whoever used it before me and I didn't notice it until I had already drank half my soda. This place used to be so great! I'm sad that they have gone so down hill since I moved away. I was looking forward to eating here again, but they have really let me down.

I had the sweet and sour chicken and it was really good. It had lots of veggies and pineapple in it. Their ham fried rice is excellent and so are their egg rolls.

Food is great. You get a lot of food for the money. Service is okay. Our 2nd time there and the 2nd time they forgot to bring our utensils after dropping off the hot n sour soup, which is amazing, by the way.

Was very good, I was checked on about 3 times and that was fantastic. Everyone is nice here and welcoming.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill with different ownership. The restaurant is old and tired, the food taste is not what it used to be, and the service is horrific. An hour and a half for food to come to the table or for take out. Sad to say that we won’t be going back.

Love this place! Large portions for a great price. The staff is so friendly and most importantly the food is so good! Took me forever to find a good Chinese Food place in Layton and this is it. Their cheese won tons are delicious and I love their Ham Fried Rice. I usually get the Mandarin Chicken or Sweet N Sour Chicken.

Went on a daughter/daddy date and we loved it. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and we would come back.

Ordered shrimp lo mein and sweet and sour chicken through door dash. The sweet and sour was forgotten completely and the shrimp lo mein was disgusting. Shrimp wasn’t cooked well and the noodles were gross on their own. Pretty sure I got food poisoning, too. 5 years back this place was great, it’s gone downhill. I don’t know if it was an off night or new management or what.

They have the most amazing food ever!!! They are always fast and efficient!!! They have an amazing staff that goes along perfectly with their amazing food!!! I hadn't discovered this place until lately, but now I can't stop coming back. Honestly super amazing place!!!

I chose a specific pickup time which was 7:15 so that I could pick up after I got off work. I got a notification that my order was ready at 6:30 so basically my food just sat around and got cold because they completely ignored the pickup time.

Excellent customer service! Greeted immediately at the door and seated quickly. Wide selection on menu. We chose the dinner meals with each of our party of 4 ordering different items to share. The meal consists of soup, egg roll or wonton, fried rice and your main entree. All of this for $8.25 a person. Needless to say we had plenty of boxes to take home!!

Royal Jade was pretty good - didn't have any major issues other than it took a long time to get our food and I think that they were confused with how we asked for plates to go with our meals. Everyone was sharing food and they staff did not bring enough rice. Food was good - but felt that the staff just have some oversights that need to be looked into.

I really wish I could give a better review, but this is the WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had! Stay away and save your money. Please!! My kids and family, adults alike said the food tasted like spicy spaghetti-Os. Gross. EVERYTHING has the same flavor and same color, some tinge of orange? All of the breaded dishes were soggy. I ordered 10 dishes thinking that we’d get some variety in flavor.... and nope! This is not a quality place at all. Prices are good, portions are big, but you won’t have any appetite after a few bites. Totally feel cheated.

They have large portions for the price, the quality is usually good and I love a few of the dishes. Always hits the spot when you need some quick Chinese food.

First visit and would not go back. Very bland food. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp. Too much doughy breading and shrimp had tails on them and not deveined Gross. Totally lost my appetite.

I’ve only ever seen teenagers working when picking up food here. The food is always delicious but the wait for takeout is quite long and I have never received my complete order even once. Something has been left out each time. Food is delicious though.

Terrible service. I ordered something at the Jade today and my order was not taken well and only got one wonton in my soup. I went back to the restaurant to complain about my order and the Hispanic front desk girl told me that she “highly doubted” that it was wrong and with her bare hands digged into my soup, and while counting, picked out the one wonton and 2 little noodles and placed them unto the counter with other costumers in the room looking. I was embarrassed and she just told me that she would get another soup. Not once did she apologize. At the end I left the restaurant embarrassed. Never will I come back to this restaurant

Good food for a good price

Food was good, but until they have more than 2 employees on staff, avoid it on high-traffic nights like Friday and Saturday. You can wait 30 minutes before you realize they forgot your order like with mine.

Loved the food! Price for their lunch specials is good for the amount of food they give you.

Friendly service and great food at an amazing price. Best Chinese food I've had in this area. I went there today and it was only $23 for 2 lunch specials, an appetizer, and two drinks.
